6. THE PREPARATION
The Lad
started wondering about his experience he had while meditating. He never had
such experience. He did not know that sorcerers experience this when they are
to feed their spirits to next level.
He asked his
father about it. He clearly explained his experience to his father. His father
was surprised by the fact that the abilities of this young lad has come to
maturity so early. He understood that he would be the best sorcerer in the
world.
“Son, your
black energy is demanding a pure spirit. You need to cast your craft on to a
pure person, who is selfless. But let me warn you cannot directly do it. Your black
energy needs to get strong. It has certain formalities and it would be
difficult even after it. You have to perform a difficult task before you
proceed”
“What is it?”
asked the Lad
“You have to
invoke the spirit of Raku nene. It demands a lot of courage. It is the spirit
of leaves. In order to master the art of invoking you need to go gradual. You
need to start with a living thing that stays still”
“Do you mean
to say a tree?”
“Yes my son we will proceed with the first step to night.”
It is pitch dark all round. It is very
insecure move around in this village during this hour. The time when people
around the world sleep in security the most insecure activity started in this
village
The lad sat facing west with his father murmuring into his
ear. The lad paid full attention to every word of his father. Every word went
straight into his heart. But his eyes still stand emotionless.
At about
midnight the father and son duo went towards the woods with a coconut tree’s
branch dragged all along. They have stopped near a big willow. It is the
biggest of the lot and seems to be deep rooted.
The boy has
spread a leap of peepal leaves. He sat facing the willow after lighting a fire.
He took a coconut leaf in his hand. He has torn it in the middle to two pieces.
He wrapped those two parts onto the index fingers of both his hands. He kept
those fingers at the center of his forehead. His lips started moving fast.
The climate
started to react wild. Wild winds started hitting the lad. Swiveling winds
started to make howling sounds. Lad opened his eyes and slowly moved his hands
and pointed the willow with both his index fingers. The environment remained
silent for next few minutes. The lad has not shown any sign of disappointment.
He swiveled
his hands in force and grabbed the few leaves from his seating and dropped them
into fire.
YerrrrrrrrrrrrrYevvvvvvvvvvvvv…….
The sounds
started spreading round the woods. The father smiled in pride. But the boy had
no emotions.
The willow
started swirling.
Cruel smiles “yeyeyeyah” started spreading round the space.
The willow started to burn on its own. The fire went to burn the whole willow.
The first in the two step preparation is complete.
Next morning
the proud father started to teach his child “ My son, you are one step away from
feeding your black energy. The next step is to invoke Raku nene on to a
buffalo. Raku nene loves buffaloes. Once you feed it with buffaloes it will
obey you.”
“Then let us
go” said the lad
“Well son to invoke her you have to wait till midnight”
It is Quarter less Twelve. The scene that
happened last night started repeating itself. The father started murmuring into
his son’s ears.
He sat on
peepal leaves and wrapped his index fingers with coconut leaves and pointed
them onto a buffalo tied to a tree. The silence prevailed for few seconds. He
got up with a knife in his hands and moved towards the buffalo. He collected
horn dust by slowly running his knife on the horns of the buffalo into a small
uncouth clock.
He swiveled
his hands and dropped the horn dust into fire.
The buffalo
started to sit down and stopped hooting. The sounds started around as usual.
The buffalo sat on its legs motionless. The boy moved close towards it. It has
no eyes.
It is time to move to the next target.
